Step 1: Find the Source & Recommend a Fix
We start by tracking down exactly where the leak is coming from. For skylights, it might be as simple as repairing old flashing, sealing a leak in the underlayment, or, if needed, replacing the skylight entirely. Once we know the cause, we recommend the best solution to keep your roof watertight.
Step 2: Expose & Protect the Area
We carefully remove the old shingles around the leak so we can see exactly what’s going on underneath. Once we’ve found the problem, we install fresh underlayment around the area to create a watertight seal and prevent future leaks. Then, we rebuild the section so it’s as good as new.
Step 3: Install Flashing & Match Shingles
We replace any flashing that needs updating, ensuring a snug, watertight fit. Then, we install new shingles that match your existing roof as closely as possible — often using the same brand you already have. Every shingle is installed according to the manufacturer’s specifications, so your roof’s warranty stays fully protected.
Step 4: Relax — You’re the Top Dawg Again
